With a strong economic background from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), Nicholas helps businesses accelerate their green competitiveness. He believes that for the green transition to succeed, sustainability must make financial sense.

Turning Industrial Energy Data into Local Value

Nicholas has made a significant analytical impact working on the Aksello project and Grønn Hub Fjord Base in Florø, mapping the potential economic benefits of developing a local district heating network. The project demonstrated how industrial energy efficiency among local businesses can correlate with long-term profitability.

Building Expertise Across Finance, Data and Energy

In his studies, Nicholas has gravitated toward statistics, data transformation, and coding, eventually building a customized fleet-logging data application for a commercial shipping company. Before joining Terravera, Nicholas further developed his analytical skillset at Norway's state-owned energy company, Statkraft, where he built resource estimation models and conducted asset performance analysis.

Looking ahead, what excites Nicholas most about Terravera is its non-profit, collaborative mission.
