Terravera has entered into a collaboration with Alvhild Hedstein, one of Norway’s most experienced leaders and strategic advisors in sustainability, value chains, and organisational development. She brings broad insight into how partnerships, governance, and financing structures can support long-term transformation.
Strengthening dialogue with partners and funders
Through the collaboration, Hedstein will help strengthen Terravera’s dialogue with businesses, foundations, and strategic partners. Her work will focus on building partnerships where Terravera can deliver modelling, data-driven documentation, and decision support. She will also contribute to developing collaboration models between industry, academia, and foundations, and to establishing long-term relationships that support the foundation’s mission and financial sustainability.
Extensive experience from business, government, and sustainability
Alvhild Hedstein brings broad experience from the intersection of business, public policy, and sustainability, and has held senior leadership roles in both the public and private sectors. Her previous positions include:
Executive Vice President for Sustainability and Innovation at BAMA Group
Chief Executive Officer at NIBIO (Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research)
Director at Ecolabelling Norway (Nordic Swan)
Director General in several Norwegian ministries
Chair and board member of numerous organisations and funds within sustainability, the bioeconomy, and the circular economy
Today, she works as a strategic advisor focusing on sustainable and profitable business development, strategy, governance, and decision-making.
